Thing Steve Loved to do

Tennis at Mead Park
Every Saturday, Steve would join his friends and Carolyn (wife and our mom) to play tennis at Mead park. Sometimes his kids would join in. He also loved Pickleball and Tennis.

Kayaking
Especially with the family - he loved being on the water Kayaking and paddle boarding. He had trouble at first staying balanced on the paddle board but eventually mastered it!

Biking
Steve had just gotten a new bike for his 70th Birthday! He loved biking, over covid he and Carolyn would bike to the beach in Darien and go to the morning service.

Snowshoeing
In the winter Steve picked up snow showing and would even do it at Waveny in New Canaan.

Doing work around the house
Steve loved to be fixing, repairing and making his house better. He had pride in his home and took great care of it.

Working in the Garden
Steve's garden was his place for meditation and work. He'd wear his mulching shirts and come back covered in dirt. It's a beautiful, well manicured garden.

Skiing
He loved to take his family skiing! And would carry all their boots and skis for them, and when there feet and hands were cold he'd take and rub and blow on them until they were warm again.

Funny funny guy! He could remember so many!

Going to the beach
We have the best memories of Steve at Jones beach and Montauk. A happy place for us and would love jumping and floating in the waves with him then eating chips and warming up in the sun.

The Pool
Steve liked swimming in the pool - doing laps throughout the summer at wavy and in the winter at the YMCA.

Dancing
Steve loved dancing with his wife and family - he was the best to dance with.

Health
Loved learning about health stuff - listening to doctor radio, reading going to conferences. He always said health is wealth
